DAWEG AGM, May 2013

DAWEG Chair.

Anja Lanz was voted in as DAWEG chair.

Chair's Message

Dear DAWEG Members,

As DAWEG chair, I am committed to work on issues of recruitment and retention of Women in Engineering and Geoscience so that women are attracted to and excel at all levels in our profession. More precisely, my energy will be focused on leading DAWEG to be more active in the area of retention as DAWEG has already established initiatives in recruitment.
I hope that as chair, I can count on the membership at large (men and women) to support and actively promote making Engineering and Geoscience engaging, rewarding, and equitable for women.
I welcome any suggestions and feedback to make DAWEG a dynamic and thriving Division of APEGBC.
Anja Lanz, EIT
DAWEG Chair
